I only take a maximum of 30 weddings per year. This insures that each of my clients receive the proper attention to detail from start to finish. I want to make sure that I am as creative as possible for each client and so I book no other sessions the day of a wedding and only 1 wedding per day.
Do you travel for Weddings & Portrait Sessions?

What kind of equipment do you photograph with?
Rachel Peters Photography uses all Nikon Professional Equipment. I am continually investing in new and innovative equipment to provide our clients with the best image quality possible.
Can we purchase the high-resolution files?
Yes, the High Res digital files on disc are available for sale with any of my sessions. Pricing is based on the session. They will be delivered upon receiving your album. Images are selected and edited at the Photographers' discretion. * Artists' reserve the right to edit and release only those images deemed creditable as professional in quality and within the Photographers' artistic standards.
How many images do you end up with for most weddings?
This answer will depend on which ever package you decide to go with. At this current time I am offering 3 packages which are based on time limits. I usually come home with 1500 images for my medium package.
What is required to book my date?
To reserve your wedding date, you are required to deposit $150 in advance. I will not hold the date until this deposit is reserved. I love email money transfers, or money orders. This deposit is non refundable based on holding your wedding date. I will deduct that amount off of your wedding package when final payment is due. Dates are booked on a first come first serve basis. The most popular dates each year are long weekends, and they book up very early.
When is final payment due?
The complete final payment including taxes will be due the week of the wedding.
How long does it take to receive my prints and album?
I usually allow about 5-7 weeks for magazine style albums to be received. If you have decided to go with a smaller package and it doesn't include a magazine album, you may receive your photos earlier. Albums are custom designed and custom created, and are considered works of art.
Will you find a location for our wedding photographs?
I can suggest places in your are for the photographs to be taken, but it is ultimately up to you where you would like to go. Rainy situations are the trickiest and should be worked out in advance.
Can I have a friend tag along and photograph while you are photographing us?
Actually, Rachel Peters will be the exclusive official photographer at your wedding. Others will be permitted to photograph at photographer's discretion, depending on time and other factors.
Will I see my photo on your blog or in advertisements?
It is quite possible that you will see them used in one or possibly both. Rachel Peters Photography owns the rights to the images that she makes. Of course, will the delicate nature of Boudoir sessions, these are treated more reserved and will only be used with the approval of clients.
Can I scan the photographs and print them and post them online?
No, you may not do this. Scanning reduces quality and breaks the copyright laws. The back of each of my photographs are stamped with Copyrighted by Rachel Peters Photography.
