I am so glad that I get to meet all these great people and become friends with them. Can you imagine a better way to meet people and call this a job? I met these two friends of mine through a friend of theirs that had me photograph their wedding. Of course we instantly bonded and new that we would be friends when a quick half hour meeting before the wedding turned into a 3 hour chat about life, and everything in it. I photographed their wedding day and have been in touch ever since. Jenn & Tim live in Toronto but make their way to PEI as often as their jobs allow.

This trip was special. They came here to vacation and celebrate their 3rd wedding Anniversary! I couldn't be more excited to hear that they were interested in doing an "Empower the Dress" session to celebrate. Jenn loves her dress so much that she would wear it around the house every day if she could, and when I heard this I knew that she must do a session. The Empower the Dress sessions are not abou
t ruining the dress or making a mess, they are about giving that beautiful gown the attention it deserves.

Tim & Jenn first met in 2003 at a hockey game and both can tell you the date was May 28th. It was in the fall of 2004 that they started dating and within a few months knew that they had met the "one". It was the spring of 2005 that they were engaged to be married that summer. They choose PEI as the ideal spot to get married once Tim came here with Jenn on vacation and he fell in love with it just as much as with Jenn.

Jenn & Tim are truly in love and you can see it when they look at each other. I can see it in their eyes. As it should be, Jenn feels that she can tell Tim anything and he will still be their with her, no matter what. This is real love that they have and I am happy to continually be capturing this for them.

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to let anyone and everyone know that I am not (pretty sure I am incapable of) ignoring any of your emails.

I am trying to edit and catch up on answering emails as fast as I can type and work. I have music blaring and am going at full speed!

In the meantime, If you have a suggestion for music that may cause me to work faster and feel more inspired, please post it in the comments section below. Please don't send it to me in email or facebook, those will not count. A prize is waiting for someone who comments on my blog with a music suggestion and it could be you! Contest is ending this Friday August 7th @ 12 noon!

Looking forward to hearing what music can get me locked in - I hope I find some new favorites!

Watch for a response to your inquiry sooooon! Thanks for your patience!

Using the word "Totally" is so last year - that is what  8 year old Taylor informed me. I guess I was using the word totally a little too much for her liking and she figured I was cool enough that I should be privy to this information. Taylor cracked me up and we instantly became "friends", which made it easy for her to relax around me and have her photos taken.

Taylor & me must have been born to at least eat one meal together...what would we choose....ummm Peanut Butter on anything of course. When I heard this from her I couldn't believe it! She eats Peanut Butter on pretty much anything including hot dogs!!

The next time I saw Taylor was a surprising & exciting one. I could see this girl running up the street towards me with her arms wide open, I couldn't tell who it was until she was nearly up to me. As soon she came into focus, I knew. It was Taylor with a huge hug for me. I was doing Everyone is Beautiful photos of one of her friends from off island and she wanted to come along.

This little girl is a whirlwind of information and life to me. I was introduced to one of her favorite bands as we drove to the location to shoot. Her favorite  included Chris Tomlin & now I also like his music. Taylor was really great to  photograph & have fun with but most of all I loved how she was like a light shining full of love for the world.

Are butterflies angles? I have heard this reoccurring times, and twice within the last week. The other night one landed on my shoulder during a photo shoot in a field, and then flew off of my shoulder landing in the long grass. The butterfly stayed in this spot for a while and looked so peaceful while I took the beauty of the summer evening on Prince Edward Island into my senses.
