This morning was a bit strange for me. I woke up really really thirsty, and ate a popsicle. This was not out of the ordinary since I love popsicles but then I decided I would go for a walk to get a iced latte from somewhere in the downtown area. The first 3 places I went to weren't open. I ended up getting one at my fourth stop. This itself is unusual. I rarely drink coffee or latte's or anything of that sort. I just felt like I needed one. Odd really. I went and sat at the Province House for a few minutes. Also odd. This is Sunday morning I thought, what am I doing here drinking this? I never do this on Sunday morning or any morning really, drink an iced coffee and sit outside of the Province house.

Then out of the corner of my eye, I seen her. The lady who has been creating my street statements of life. I rushed right over to her in all my shyness to introduce myself. I needed to know all about it. Her and her 3 year old son have been creating these art works of life all over downtown Charlottetown, with thinking statements such as "Pretend you are who you want to be". We chatted for an hour, about life, the universe and our chance meeting. Of course both of us agreed there was nothing chance about it. We both believed that we must have met for some reason, and maybe it was to be inspired by each other or to make one of us think about life or just for that inspiring chat. There is a reason, there always is a reason.

These statements of life/art pieces are awesome. Like she said, if they inspire just one person, or make one person stop and think about life, then it is worth it. She herself just felt inspired to do these are pieces and hopes they make some one smile, a little smile, or a big one, or think just a little bit. They certainly have made me smile a big smile, and think about a lot of things. As she and her 3 year old son continued to color and draw, people stopped and looked and everyone of them smiled and looked like a wave of enlightenment came over them as they read the words.

I would like to thank the universe for forcing that iced latte on me this morning, and for making me sit and stop for a second.
When the universe gives you a nudge from within or a strong feeling, follow it. Their is a reason for that nudge, always.
